This is an album for Producers to hear my 1967 Gibson bass. Alex Dumble modified with a Les Paul "Recording Studio" low impedance pickup. I have played thousands of hours on this bass as the photo and the wear marks will testify. It is on it's third re-fret. The bass is recorded directly into the board. The bass is wired in stereo so each pickup has it's own 1/4" jack. The bass is plugged into a Mackie MDB-1A active direct box: XLR connected to Focusrite Claret 2Pre USB: USB-A to USB-C to Dell PC's running Ableton 11 Lite. Tracks are straight in, unless noted they are re-mixed with compression and reverb. Thank you for listening. "New Wine" is a biblical reference to Jesus's making wine from water, the best at the end of the wedding. And His teaching, "don't put the new wine into old skins." I take that to be, drink the new wine, and leave the old wine in their skins....for the coming guests.
